Classes for 2nd grade students at CDF are creative and provide a foundation for CDF's Upper School Program.

2nd Grade Ballet Preparatory
This class introduces students to the beauty of classical ballet, with barre work and center combinations. This class meets once a week.

2nd Grade Contemporary Dance
Students will continue to strengthen dance skills through modern and jazz dance styles. This class, taken in bare feet, uses contemporary music.

Class Attire:
Girls: light blue leotard; pink convertible tights and ballet shoes for ballet, black pants and bare feet for contemporary
Boys: T-shirt, shorts or sweat pants and ballet shoes.
